Blood Drive

On Thursday, August 21, 2008 there will be a blood drive at the Luther Lions Hall, sponsored by the Luther Lioness Club. The blood drive is In Memory of John & Sherman Holmes. The time is 12:00 PM – 5:45 PM.

John was a dart thrower and cousin to Deb Bowman, Sherman was Deb's Father.  Both of them needed blood and platelets so that they were able to be with us a little longer.

For an appointment, please email me cholmes@provide.net or call me (231) 797-5612 on the weekend or evening. The appointments are in 15 minute timeframes. 12:00, 12:15 etc. Walk-ins are also welcome! If anyone is able to help work the blood drive, please call Phyllis Korte at (231) 797-5541.


Anyone donating blood will be entered into a drawing for race tickets to 2009 Daytona Speedweeks and a $500.00 gas card.
